D'Banj Oliver Video...My Opinion

I have nothing to say about the MoHits split. It's sad, but ultimately, they wear the shoes...they know where it pinches...

So, D'banj released a video to Oliver twist....

MY OPINION
1. MyBackyardCrew and 'TheOneLeggedGirl'Crew had a far more entertaining representation of the song in their dance videos.
2. I don't care that Don Jazzy wasn't in it (even though it would have been nice to see him 'lebete' and 'labata') but it does seem like D'banj lost a little bit of his clownish swag in this video
3. Is it me or did it seem like D'banj was trying so had to fit in to the 'Kanye-type' swag?
4. Those 3 girls that were dancing in the background...what do they know about shaking a proper African booty (I am butt-less but Lord knows even I would have given a far better delivery)
5. The best part of the video for me, was seeing a white guy do something that resembles the Azonto (and he actually did it nicely)
6. All the blurring in the video...seriously! Was that video editing gimmick really necessary?
7. I could be wrong o, but I thought the winners of the Oliver dance competition were meant to be featured in the official video?? (abi did anyone else see their shadows in the video?)
8. If the video editor had cut clips of all the different Oliver Dance Video submissions that they got and merged them to form the official video, with a D'banj Cameo, it would have been a far more entertaining video
9. The song, Oliver Twist, is a 'Joke-of-a-song'. It sounds like the sort of thing you just wanna fool around to and I think that was what made it such a hit. That sort of fun song does not need to be destroyed by a serious video (or rather, a serious-video-wanna-be)
10. Where video quality in concerned though, I give the video full marks.

Finally, I say NEVER ASK A NON-ORIGINAL AFRICAN WOMAN TO SHAKE WHAT ONLY AN AFRICAN WOMAN CAN SHAKE (those dancers didn't do justice mehn...e dey pain me)

3/10

Watch the official video, the backyard crew video and the video with the one legged girl after the cut
