The Best DJ in Abuja is....

On friday, 6 DJs battled at Sofa Lounge. With 119 votes, Kiss FMs Kaki P came tops. (ignore the spelling in the pic above...KAKI P is what it is)

To be honest, I am VERY happy he won. Not just because he won a pioneer CDJ 2000 and 1 Million Naira, but because, of all the competitors, he was the 'newest kid on the block'.
Kaki P has been playing in Abuja since mid February...that means, in less than 2 months, he has been able to win the hearts of music lovers in Abuja...so reckon what he'll do in 1 year (this will be a good time to let you know that I'm managing him, so to get him at your gig, holla me).

A little bad news though...his laptop and hard drive got stolen at city park on Saturday (like some sort of cosmic sabotage) right before he was to play at this months edition of Designers' Market Place. Oh well, that little thing definitely won't hold him back because, he is currently, THE BEST DJ in ABUJA....big thanks to the entire Kiss FM crew and to all of you for voting.
