Olamide's First of All Video...my 2 cents (or in this case, 4)

Most of you who know me (or listen to me on radio) know that I absolutely love Olamide's Music and his new found 'jonzing' style...

When I first came across the azonto freestyle, First of All, I loved it soooo much that I played it everyday on air (and I would scream each time it played)...this went on for months (and i still like the song sha)

Today, his album (YBNL) and the video for First of All got released.

Here's what I think about the video:

1. Why the hell does everyone want to do a 'lagos-traffic-jam-scene' type video? Chuddy K and Darey got it right...JJC did pretty well...but sorry Olamide (I still like you very much) your traffic scene didn't exactly cut it for me

2. What was the point of that intro where the girl answered the phone? (the voice...which didn't seem like hers though...was really sexy, i gotta give you that). Honestly, that was a waste of recording time especially as the video now went to the part where a radio announcer was talking about the song. I think it was all a little too much 'introduction'.

3. My favorite part of that song is towards the end where the beat stops and olamide brings it back and stops it again and brings it back. I kinna expected the video would have some freeze effect (or lights out kinna thing) at those spots or at least, the dancers would freeze...but no. The beat stopped yet some girl who had "gone down low" kept rocking it down there to a beat in her head.

4. Helen Paul is an excellent actress with the perfect blend of facial expressions, body language and attitude...every time the camera focused on her in the video, i laughed.
