042 City Cam: Contestant Entry Analysis 1 - 4

The Competition has come to a close but before the winners get announced, here is an analysis of some of the entries received by 6am today.

1st, do you remember the rules?
1. Write out what Enugu is to you in a FEW lines
2. TAKE a picture that EXPRESSES what you wrote
3. Upload the picture on this page with your words and full name.
4. Get YOUR FRIENDS to 'like' your post
5. The most meaningful post with the highest 'likes' wins

Based on the rules, all entries will be analysed based on
(a) meaningfulness
(b) originality
(c) number of 'likes'
(d) authenticity of 'likes'

Number 1 

Number 1:
The 'essay' is wayyyyyy too long + it does NOT answer the question "What is Enugu to you". Uba Osinachi decided to write an essay on a topic that could be 'Enugu'.

Further more, the picture he uploaded does NOT adequetly express the possible meaning of the essay he wrote.

With no offence to Uba, the originality of the picture is questionable and his over 100 'likes' are from the middle east.

Number 2 

Number 2:

The essay is rather long and it talks about Enugu without saying what enugu is to Ebi Roberts.

The picture does NOT depict the "cultural diversity, beautiful scenery and undulating plateaus" he wrote of and so is not meaningful to the session's theme or his write up.

The over 400 'likes' on his post are rather questionable.

Number 3

The write up here is about 'The Enugu Culture and Tourism Fiesta' NOT about what Enugu means to Alao.

The originality of the picture is rather questionable and even it is originally his, chances are that it was taken almost 11 months ago.

Number 4

The essay is rather long but pretty meaningful, save the grammatical errors.

The picture may easily be original, however, it would have been better if there was no mirroring.

The over 250 'likes' seem rather authentic and are made further believable by the comments below the pictures and the number of 'shares' that show his effort in getting 'likes'.
