The Adam and Eve Tale AND A Few Questions from Mr. Y

While having a civilized evening yesterday with my caucus in my cocoon, we bickered a bit. Mr.X  had to heat up the argument by bringing in the Adam and Eve tale back then in the garden of Eden.He blamed Adam rawly for eating the so called apple.Now Mr.Y took it a notch higher,tackled him by asking rhetorically thus: How can you give a lump of sugar to the ants and expect them not to eat it up.He further asked, do you know how sweet and attractive is the apple? He stated that people should stop playing the blame game.That if Adam did not eat the apple that Cain or Abel will still eat it come some day.He finally dug out the last question which reads:Do you think that the apple will remain uneaten till this day?   I ceased to talk because the wording from the duo  gave me a muzzy head.

           

Now it is thrown to you. With utmost sincerity, If you were in Adam's shoes with such a chemistry, would you eat the apple? And do you think that the apple will remain the same till this day?
