Random Gist: The weird phone call

So the wierdest thing just happened as I was heading to work this evening...my phone rang and I actually parked to answer it. I will try to transcribe the conversation as well as I can;

Me: Good evening

Caller: Hello how are you?

Me: Good evening

Caller: Can you talk?

Me: Yes, go ahead

Caller: Ok...do you know who is speaking?

Me: No I don't

Caller: Ok...never mind, I am a friend and I have a big job for you if you will do it

Me: Sorry sir, I need you to tell me who you are. Start with your name.

Caller: I said you should not worry

Me: Then we can not have a conversation

Caller: Ok...my name is Treasure from Port Harcourt

Me: Treasure from Port Harcourt, how may I help you?

Caller: Can you talk were you are? If you can't call me when you can because this is confidential

Me: I can talk, go ahead

Caller: This is a confidential business, call me back

Me: Mr Treasure, you have my attention. Talk.

Caller: Ok. I have this man I want you to go and meet in Abuja. He is one of the newly elected senators and he needs a pretty girl....

Me: Sorry sir, please do you know whom you are speaking with?

Caller: Yes now, I know you!

Me: What is my name?

Caller: Never mind about that my dear. The man is in Abuja...

Me: I think you have called the wrong number, you don't know me and I am not into this business you are offering

Caller: Are you not Tobe? I know you. I know what you do. But he is a big man and needs a pretty girl that is educated...

Me: Sorry, you are wasting your credit right now

Caller: Why don;t you allow me finish what I am saying madam

Me: Ok

Caller: Or will you call me back when you are free?

Me: I will not call you back for any reason. say what you want to say

Caller: Ok. so this big man wants a pretty girl that is educated to .....

And the line went of (I think he hung up).

Now, I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't know after working hours but for some reason, I took this call and after the conversation, different scenarios played out in my head.

(1) Desperate runs girl (I say desperate because I believe that even a runs girl won't respond to that kind of call, unless she was desperate. PS: this does not in any way encourage runs). 

If I was a desperate runs girl, I probably would have asked him a bit more about this person in abuja and gone on to negotiate fees with him, since he is obviously acting as the pimp here.

(2) The Kidnapper/Ritualist:

With all the stories of Kidnap and voodoo going on around town, I couldn't help but wonder if my conversation with him was supposed to send some evil-men type of shock vibes through me and make me brainwashed to do whatever he asked...I mean, we have all head stories of supernatural occurrences and people being saved by prayers.

(3) The Prankstar:

This though actually came while the call was on...what if one of my friends (or haters) was trying to mess with me?

Anyway, I guess I now have a valid reason to maintain my rule of not taking calls after a certain time, from unknown numbers.
